This spreads the burden, builds community and cultivates new leaders. Ideally a CO overseas his area of responsibility and engages elders to help with as much of that work as possible. This helps develop new leaders, activate the clan, and build tribal community. Tasks are other activities the CO may do, but are ideal for splitting out and tasking an elder or member to help with under the COвЂ™s oversight. Oversight is as important as doing everything.
